About Cate

I am a social worker with over 12 years experience. I also have a Masters in child and adolescent welfare. I am passionate about supporting clients and fellow social workers with a non-judgmental and compassionate approach. I practice from a person-centred, trauma-informed and strengths-based approach. I have worked with clients of all ages and in a variety of settings. I am a qualified clinical supervisor and am a trained facilitator in multiple parenting courses. I love working with individuals or groups. I also enjoy sharing my practice experience, leadership skills and knowledge with others through professional development and training. 

Outside of my working life I am a single mum to two little girls, a foster carer and I have two dogs.
